Who is responsible for your information?

What information does this website use?

If you use the contact form, I receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, business or organisation (if supplied), enquiry topic, and message. Please avoid sending sensitive or confidential information in an initial enquiry.

Why and on what basis will information be used?

I use the details you provide to reply, discuss the work you have asked about, and prepare a proposal if appropriate. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. I may also keep relevant correspondence where I have a legitimate interest in managing business enquiries and records.

Technical information may be used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website, based on legitimate interests in keeping the service available and safe.

Who may receive information?

I do not sell or rent personal information. Enquiries are sent to my business inbox using my own SMTP mail server.

If you choose to start a conversation through the WhatsApp link, WhatsApp will handle that chat under its own privacy policy.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, configured to check for automated submissions without displaying a CAPTCHA in normal use. Turnstile processes security signals such as your IP address, browser user-agent, TLS fingerprint, and the site key and origin to detect automated traffic. It does not access or transmit your form entries. Cloudflare also says it uses these signals to improve Turnstile’s bot detection. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

This website currently loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files from Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. See Google’s privacy information.

How long is information kept?

Enquiry information will be kept only for as long as needed to respond and decide next steps. If an enquiry leads to work, relevant records may be kept for the duration of that work and for any further period needed for accounting, legal, or business record keeping. Information will be securely deleted when it is no longer needed.

Cookies and similar technologies

The theme switcher changes the appearance of the current page and does not save that choice. I do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site. Cloudflare Turnstile runs a security check when you use the contact form; see its privacy addendum above for details of its processing and necessary technologies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for a copy of your personal information, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to or ask me to restrict its use. To make a request, email info@uksitebuilder.net. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

I will update this notice if the website or the way information is handled changes. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.
